MANAGEMENT MEETINGS
The Chair, Vice-chair, Secretary and Treasurer meet regularly - usually once a month. A review is made of all current activities, proposals and projects.
GENERAL MEETINGS
Three times a year a general meeting , open to all, is held to bring the membership up-to-date with what is currently proposed and happening. The purpose of these meetings is partly to convey information but also to encourage members to become involved not just in physical activities like litter picking and park maintenance volunteering, but in promoting ideas for improvement, for suggesting the means of funding those ideas and the contacts individuals may have to help delivering on those ideas.
The last FOSP General Meeting was held on 18th March 2024.
The dates of the next General Meetings will be Monday 17th June 2024 and Monday 2nd December 2024 with the AGM between the two. Times and locations will be announced in good time prior to the meetings
The meeting of 17th June will be preceded at 5pm by a tree walk around the West Park conducted by Chris Chavasse, the Cheltenham Borough Council Tree Officer. This will be a fascinating exploration of the park's most interesting trees led by the town's tree expert. Not to be missed.
Whenever meetings are held do come along to hear about new proposals and developments for the Park and to contribute your ideas and experiences. As a member you are or would be separately notified (May 2024)
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS
Usually held now in the autumn, these meetings follow the format of any AGM - review of the preceding year, proposals for the coming year, financial position and election of the officers. The 2024 AGM will be held on Monday 14th October 2024. Again, time and location will be announced in good time prior to the meeting.
